Meet The PV Experts
"Horses do not care how much you know until they know how much you care"
We are a small family here at PV and we only ever use trainers that are personally known to us. This ensures that each horse we purchase is paired to the perfect trainer for them and also gives us the benefit of full and easy access to our trainers, so if you have any questions about your horse, we can always get an answer for you!

Jack Davison
Based at Killarkin Stud, Dunboyne, Co. Meath, Ireland
Jack is an accomplished racehorse trainer based in Dunboyne, County Meath. With a degree in Agricultural Science and training from the prestigious Godolphin Flying Start program. Jack gained valuable experience working with some of the most renowned trainers in the industry such as Jim Bolger, Gai Waterhouse, Roger Varian, and Brendan Holland.

When asked why he became a trainer, Jack explains, "Since a young age, I've always enjoyed being involved in competitive sports. Once I decided to make a career in the thoroughbred horse industry, I could see myself gravitating towards the racing side of things to satisfy my competitive nature and passion for the thoroughbred racehorse. After gaining experience working with notable figures in the industry, I felt confident in my ability to train for myself.
After achieving early success with our own stock, I made the decision to pursue training on a full-time basis, confident that I could attract support from new owners. As luck would have it, I was fortunate to train some outstanding horses early on and achieve black-type success with them, which helped to establish my reputation and set me on a path to success.
Thanks to the experience I've gained thus far, I am confident that I will continue to climb the ranks of horse trainers in Ireland. I am proud of the team we've assembled at Killarkin, including our exceptional staff and state-of-the-art facilities, and the caliber of horses we have in training. I am excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead for us."
