At Last...
Although we are mainly a horse racing ownership syndicate, one of the most viewed page on the website & most frequently requested syndicates are actually for Greyhounds!
So now we have an opportunity to own a top-end competition dog!! After massive success with our small interests in the Greyhound world so far, our purchaser Paul Lawrence has found something very much of interest…
The Pup in question: TURNTHEMAGICON
After showing plenty of promise despite being in the completely wrong trap, he still came home to win his race by a narrow margin in the Cork unraced stakes (worth €10,000 to the winner). We are delighted to have purchased him privately & he will now compete in the semi-final on Saturday, before hopefully going onto the final the following week.
After his efforts in this competition, he will go to top UK trainer - Maxine Locke, to continue to compete in the top class competitions throughout the season.

New recruit TURNTHEMAGICON ran a blinder from a wide draw in 6 to finish a close second, qualifying for the Final of the Denis Linehan Unraced competition.
​
A further good run from Oli, secures 3rd place in the Final of the Denis Lineham Unraced and takes his prize money to €2.3k in his first ever comp! The winner of this competition last year ‘Droopys Plunge’, won the Greyhound Derby Final at Towcester this year!

After settling in at Maxine's, Oli went for his trial at Monmore in preparation for his first UK comp entry on Saturday.
Safe to say it went well! 🚀

Interested in our Greyhound Syndicates?
What is a PV greyhound syndicate?
Just like our racehorse syndicates, it gives the opportunity for anyone to be a greyhound owner and share all the excitement that comes with greyhound ownership without the expense of being a sole owner.
How do greyhound syndicates work?
We purchase the pup, assisted by our resident Greyhound Expert, Paul Lawrence, (AKA PL!) then split the purchase into 10 equal shares. Prices will vary depending on the initial purchase price. Training fees are then paid monthly at the agreed rate.
Can I watch my dog race?
Absolutely! Greyhound racing is a great night out! Your dog will run fairly frequently, usually every week, apart from breaks, so you will have plenty of opportunity to watch him race, and hopefully get the chance to visit the winners podium to collect the trophy!
