Tuco Salamanca, another multiple winning racehorse for the Pompey Ventures syndicate and brilliantly named by two young first time owners Connor and Tomas, has come on leaps and bounds over the winter period after benefitting immensely from a wind op. He has won in both novice and handicap company and remains a horse with plentry of upside for the future for his excited team of owners and the Ollie Sangster stable!

Tuco absolutely bolts up in the Racing League to win by 1.5L and lands a nice £18k for his owners! He is a super little horse who is now a four time winner & has earned just shy of £60,000 in prize money.

This was a serious performance from what is arguably now our flagship individual! He made the 5lb rise from his emphatic Yarmouth victory look very lenient when slicing through the field in impressive fashion and winning eased down.
It was so impressive that it earned him a Timeform performance rating of 100+ & an RPR of 96. Timeform now rate our Belardo gelding a whopping 104!
Ollie Sangster & his team at Manton have done an incredible job keeping this horse happy, healthy and on top of his game, enabling him to reach the heights he has so far & we are delighted that our race planning has once again proven to be very effective. We were very vocal in both a televised interview & to Team Ireland captain Mick Fitzgerald after winning at Yarmouth that this fella needed to run in the 6f 0-90 at Newcastle. It was great to see Micks faith in us justified!

Winless through his first three starts, beaten a total of 24 and a half lengths, wind surgery last winter seemed to work the oracle as he then won three on the bounce from an opening mark of 61.
Placed efforts at Ascot and Goodwood followed in the spring and he has won his last two starts to take him to a mark of 93"
