Profit Refused

Profit Refused was a filly who, as a two year old, showed a level of form displaying she was certainly above average.

Throughout her 3 year old career her form seemed to plummet, with her handicap mark dropping from 85 down to 78 and finishing unplaced in 7 of 8 starts.

For us, there was a clear angle of not only improving this filly to get her back to her 2yo level, as she certainly didn’t lack ANY physical scope, but also to try and improve her residual value as a broodmare, with her dam being a half sister to ‘Minidress’, who is the dam of globe trotting Godolphin superstar - Rebel’s Romance.

We improved her 9lb to a rating of 87 in her six starts in the black and blue silks and she ended her racing career with us having achieved an amazing 83.3% place strike rate and a 33.3% wins strike rate!
