This Nick boasts above a 50% strike rate of winners/runners.The aspect of the breeze we like to focus on most is the ‘gallop out’, as many others do too. This colt only got rolling in his 2nd furlong and he managed to score himself as the 23rd in the Gallop Out ranks. Impressive…
In the build up to the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up sale, we kept our ears to the ground & had PV partner Dave Byrne out scouting the stock across the Irish Sea before they went to sale. We were in no rush to buy anything, but when Dave came back with a simple but effective message on the weekend before the sale saying:
‘Lads, we need to buy this Colt.’

This colt came highly recommended by both Roger O'Callaghan of Tally-Ho & PV's Dave Byrne, purchaser of Tuco Salamanca and Bob Mali, both three time winners for us, so we definitely weren't leaving without him!
He has since arrived at Manton this morning (25th May) and it was the first time Ollie had seen him in the flesh.
Ollie said:
‘He seems to have travelled over grand. He looks fit, fast & ready to start training straight away.’
Ollie has also since retained a 25% share and mentioned he would be keen to take half if shares weren’t sold!
