Street Dancer
"By far the best of the unraced fillies..."

Tattersalls July Horse In Training Sale
Lot: 257
Consignor - Godolphin
Purchase price - £32,000
We had to outbid some shrewd people to get our hands on this beautiful Godolphin homebred. She came highly recommended to us by a friend who had worked closely with this filly during her life in the Godolphin set up.
Street Dancer is an unraced daughter of Cracksman & out of a Listed winning mare who has produced three winners from 5 runners so far, including top class performers Spirit of Light (105 Peak OR) and Leading Spirit( 105 Peak OR).
Some of her work as a two year old was very eyecatching and showed a clear level of having above average ability. Her attitude was also notable, she just wants to:

Eat, sleep, train & repeat!
Whilst she had been sold as a HOT (horse out of training), we knew that she had been cantering away at Saeed's up until the weekend before the sale and was taken to Tattersalls straight from his yard.
There is plenty of value to be had in these lightly/unraced tried Godolphin offerings. You get the opportunity to buy a well bred blank canvas and without the need of paying three years of expenses to get them to this point! They have sold horses recently such as Quinualt - multiple listed and group winner and Golden Ace - champion hurdle winner, so they let plenty with ability go!

Description
Street Dancer is joining our strong team at Manton with Ollie Sangster, who we believe to be an excellent trainer of fillies, having saddled the 2nd and 3rd in the 1000 Guineas with Flight and Simmering. She will fly the flag for the fillies alongside another shrewd purchase of our's - Profit Refused.

Ollie, doing the same as with Profit, has kept a considerable portion for himself!
Our filly has arrived at Manton and is being quarantined for a few days before heading up to Ollie's main yard in a couple of days time.
As this filly had been cantering daily at Saeed's, she (hopefully) won't take a lot of time to get ready for a racecourse debut. I would expect to see her on track within 6 weeks.
